Aland Mariwan
I am a software engineer with a strong design-oriented and detail-focused approach, driven by the passion for merging elegant design with meticulously crafted code.
I was born in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan, and currently work as an IT technician and information systems specialist for application development at OSZ-Teltow in Germany. I completed my education as an IT specialist in application development in 2020.
Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive expertise in developing and designing web software, ranging from simple yet engaging landing pages to complex and feature-rich progressive web applications. I find great satisfaction in harnessing both the logical and creative facets of my mind to create software of the highest quality.
Collaboration within a team of software developers is where I truly thrive. My commitment lies in delivering innovative and top-notch products that cater to the end user's needs. I'm a proactive, confident, and communicative individual, consistently looking forward to the future.
I'm deeply passionate about continuous learning, always on the lookout for new and improved methods to construct seamless user experiences using clean, efficient, and scalable code. For me, work is an everlasting journey of education, and I'm constantly seeking opportunities to collaborate with those who are eager to share their knowledge and expertise.

Als menschliche Wesen mit Verstand halte ich es für unsere Pflicht, uns um die Welt zu kümmern und andere so zu behandeln, wie wir selbst behandelt werden möchten. There's a whole world outside of technology, but programming (and writing about it) is my favorite hobby. I also love music from a wide variety of genres, from folk music to jazz classics and disco to video game OSTs. My favorite instrument is the violin. I really enjoy playing Beethoven. The brain is a part of the body and it is important to me to keep moving and take care of my body. I like to ride my bike around town and hike when I get the chance to get away. I like strategy board games and real-time strategy video games. Science, science fiction and the cosmos fascinate me and I love the books by The Expanse and Carl Sagan. We're made of star stuff.
